FAQs

How do I know if coaching is right for me?

If you are feeling stuck or are unable to make progress on a career change or an area of personal growth, and want supportive accountability, coaching is right for you.

Coaching will help you align your values with your aspirations. It provides a confidential, non-judgmental space to gain clarity, identify and leverage your strengths and overcome obstacles.

How do I start with Intentions Coaching?

Please contact Karen for a free 20-minute consultation.

Is coaching the same as therapy?

No. Coaching is goal, future and action-oriented and primarily serves those who are in need of encouragement and motivation to achieve optimal performance.

Professional coaching and psychotherapy serve two different functions and target two different objectives.

Therapy generally addresses a broad range of mental health concerns, such as anxiety, depression and relational issues. Therapy often explores the past and family history to identify and treat negative symptoms and patterns.

If you are struggling with any of these issues, get in touch.
